Explore the Best New Beauty Launches of the Season

A lot has happened in Summer 2025. From crazy Coldplay concerts to Demi Lovato reuniting with the Jonas Brothers, and so much more, this season has been filled with unforgettable pop culture moments. The beauty industry has been adding to this hype by launching exciting new products that are innovative, practical, and experimental. Some of these launches are bold (check out Prada’s banana lip balm in this article)!

Summer is always the season when the beauty industry is more fun and focused on hydrating and long-lasting products which made the research for this article interesting. Down below are some recent makeup, skincare, hair care, and body care launches I found in my research that I think are worth checking out!

Makeup

Rare Beauty- Positive Light Luminizing Lip Gloss

Price: $20

Once again, Rare Beauty does not disappoint. With its most recent launch, buyers can enjoy a shiny lip gloss in 6 different shades. This lip gloss is rated 5 stars for its hydration and beautiful shimmering effect!

Glossier – Skylight Liquid Highlighter

Price: $24

Glossier has had a few exciting and noteworthy launches this year. Most recently, they released their Skylight Highlighters. Some key benefits of this highlighter is that it delivers hydration while also having a long-wearing effect that stays on through sweat, water, and humidity! This highlighter has a glowy finish rather than a glitter finish, which helps give your skin the golden hour effect all day long.

Maybelline -Super Stay Teddy Liquid Lip Tint

Price: $13

When it comes to drugstore lip products, Maybelline knows what they are doing. This summer, they released new Teddy Tint Liquid Lip Tints in 10 shades. These liquid lips are matte and have a no-transfer feature. What I love about these is that they are a great alternative to high-end matte liquid lips, and they are long-lasting.

Charlotte Tilbury – Unreal Lip & Cheek Glow Blush Stick

Price: $42

This blush stick by Charlotte Tilbury has been receiving so many positive ratings for its buildable coverage and the fact that it can double as a lip tint. This 2-in-1 product offers a natural glowly flush to it. It comes in 6 different shades, ranging from hues of pink and berry.

Summer Fridays- Blush Butter Balm Hydrating Blush

Speaking of beautiful blushes that have been recently released, I can’t forget to mention the Summer Fridays Blush Butter Balm Hydrating Blush. This is the ideal blush for you if you like a more natural and clean look. It glides on the skin easily and has a very flattering effect to it!

L’Oréal-Infallible Blur-Fection Longwear Loose Setting Powder

Price: $16

This new blurring setting powder from L’Oréal is a great drugstore option if you are looking for a new powder to set your makeup. If you are looking for a brighter complexion, this product will help you achieve that while also reducing the look of fine lines and pores.

Makeup by Mario – Master Mattes Long-Wearing Cream Eyeshadow 

Price: $25

Makeup by Mario has built its reputation as one of the best brands in the high-end makeup game. Most recently, they released a cream eyeshadow in 10 different shades. Some key features of this product is that it blends easily, is crease-free, and is lightweight! The benefit of a cream eyeshadow over a powdered one is its long-lasting effect and the natural look it offers.

Fenty Beauty – ShadowStix Eyeshadow Stick

Price: $26

Fenty Beauty has released a new eyeshadow stick in both matte and shimmer shades. What I love about this product is its versatility and shade range. Another plus with these sticks is that they are easy to travel with! This eyeshadow blends out easily and lasts throughout the day.

Refy- Topaz Collection: Shimmer Lip Gloss & Liquid Highlighter Set

If you want a natural glow makeup look, this kit is a great option for you! Refy has released some amazing products this year, and this kit is no exception. For $35, you can get their Shimmer Lip Gloss & Liquid Highlighter together. The gloss in this set is limited edition and made with Jojoba oil which gives lasting moisture to the lips!

Kosas – Soulgazer Lengthening Mascara

I absolutely love lengthening mascara, and I am always looking for new ones to try out! This mascara is amazing for several reasons. One, it does have a lengthening effect to it making your lashes long and full. The formula for this mascara is what it makes it special. Not only is it a mascara, but it’s also a lash serum, meaning it is helping to grow your lashes so you will see long-term effects with this product as well. It is an ideal for anyone who loves the lengthening effect of their lashes and/or anyone with sensitive eyes!

Ilia Soft Focus Blurring Blush

So many blushes have been released this year, it can be hard to know which ones are worth the investment. If you are looking for a new blush, this Ilia Soft Focus Blurring Blush is a fan-favorite due to its natural look, beautiful shade range, and coverage. My favorite shade is magnetic, which is a darker, rich, berry hue ideal for darker skin tones.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Colour Wash Water Blush

This is one of the more unique launches of the summer. Victoria Beckham’s Water Blushes are made of mineralized sea water, coconut fruit water, and Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract to create a blush that goes on with a dropper applicator. It’s a blush that feels like water and soaks into the skin for a sheer and fresh look. I personally think this product is innovative and beautiful. What I love most about it is that it is formulated with clean ingredients and gives a sunkissed effect to the skin.

Prada Beauty Hydrating Lip Balm- Banana Yellow

Price: $50

At first glance, this new Prada Banana Yellow Lip Balm shade looks a bit intimidating. Almost makes you think, who would want a yellow shade for a lip balm? The thing is, this shade does not actually give your lips a yellow tint. It does however have a banana scent to it, which some people may like! If you are not a huge fan of banana, they also have a range of other shades worth trying out as this product is hydrating, luxe, and nourishes the lips without feeling sticky.

Saie Slip Tint Baked Setting Powder

Price: $32

When it comes to setting powders, there are a couple favorites that all beauty lovers know and love such as the classic Laura Mercier setting powder. Now, there is a new contender in the match for best setting powder and that is the Saie Slip Tint Baked Setting Powder. This lightweight powder leaves an airbrushed effect on the skin and leaves you with a beautiful glow. If you like a setting powder with more of a dewy effect, definitely give this one a try!

Pureology has released its first hair oil, and it already has an average rating of 5 stars. This hair oil gives shine and hydration to the hair and as an added bonus has heat protection for up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, making it an ideal product to tame frizz. If you have dry ends, this product can help replenish them and it is perfect for any hair type!

K18- Heatbounce Conditioning Heat Protectant

Price: $48

This new K18 Heatbounce Conditioning Heat Protectant is a cream-to-mistt formula that protects the hair from hot tools and UV rays while also preventing breakage in the hair. It leads to 85% less breakage when blowdrying the hair which is crucial to keep your hair healthy and hydrated. It’s also great for detangling hair and doubles as a leave-in conditioner.

SKINCARE

Peach & Lily – MiniProtein Bioactive  Exosome Bioactive Ampoule

I love the Peach & Lily brand and their skincare products. Their products are powerful yet formulated with ingredients that are clean and gentle on the skin. Their newest launch of the MiniProtein Bioactive Exosome Ampoule is the ideal serum for a youthful-look. This serum targets signs of collagen loss such as wrinkles, fine lines, and blemishes. Merit- Great Skin Double Cleanser

This product is AMAZING! If you never tried out Merit before, this product is a must-try! this cleanser removes makeup, cleanse, and exfoliates the skin all at once. It’s made with clean and vegan ingredients that are gentle on the skin. This cleanser is hydrating and smoothing, but it also effectively deeply cleanses the skin so you feel refreshed directly after using it.

Drunk Elephant Amino Rain Glasswater Serum

Price: $58

This newest serum from Drunk Elephant is packed with essential amino acids that gives long-lasting hydration and moisture while making the skin have a glass effect. This serum works for people of every age to give your skin hydration and appear more plump. This product is also helpful when it comes to filtering out blue light. Body Care

Sol De Janeiro Sundays in Rio Body Mist

I love the smell of Sol de Janeiro’s products, and some of their body mists smell heavenly! Recently, they launched their limited edition newest body mist scent called “Sundays in Rio.” This body mist has notes of warm vanilla, pink pepper, and amber musk. This is not an overpowering scent, but it has a nice depth and is a soft smell. Make sure to purchase quickly since these are limited edition!

Miss Dior – Exfoliating Body Oil

Price: $65

If you want to have a more luxurious shower experience, the new Miss Dior Exfoliating Body Oil can be an option that is ideal for you! This soft body oil exfoliates the skin and has soft notes of floral. Exfoliation is such a crucial part of a body care routine and this product can help you achieve the soft and hydrated skin look.

Summer 2025 has seen a lot of exciting new beauty launches across drugstore and high-end brands. Common trends I saw while creating this list is that brands are highly focused on beauty, hair, and skin products that are hydrating and long-lasting.
