Top 2025 Spring Outfit Ideas: From Linen to Pastels

My favorite season is here!! I love everything about Spring. This is the time of year I feel so refreshed and ready to take on new goals, routines, and fashion trends.

Walking around Milan this past week, I’ve seen that this season there are a couple of trends that are dominating. So let’s talk about them.  From powder pink pieces to elevated denim looks, I have been taking notes and gathering some inspiration for this blog post! 1. The Linen Co-Ord Set

One trend  I keep seeing everywhere in Milan this spring? Linen Co-Ord Sets—and honestly, I get it. It’s the ultimate warm-weather material: breathable, lightweight, and effortlessly chic. I’ve noticed so many stylish women wearing linen co-ord sets in those soft, natural tones like oat, cream, and sage.

After seeing it all over the streets (and all over TikTok), I had to try it myself. I recently wore a matching cream linen shirt and wide-leg trouser set, and I will say that linen really is that go-to fabric that checks all the boxes—minimalist, polished, and so easy to style.Pair a linen button-down shirt with matching high-waisted linen pants. Add minimalist sandals, cat-eye  sunglasses, and a Raffia bag and you are sure to look luxe.

2. Denim Shirt with Wide-Leg Pants

Denim is making a major comeback—but not just jeans. Denim shirts are trending, and I love pairing mine with white or beige wide-leg pants.

To elevate this look for dinner, you can wear it with a slick-back ponytail and red lip. I also think you can elevate it even further with the perfect pair of kitten heels.

3. Modern Shirtdress Moment

The modern  shirtdress is making a major comeback for Spring 2025. According to Vogue, this trend is dominating the runways—proving that chic, structured, and easy-to-wear pieces are having their moment.

The great thing about this look is you can wear it with tennis sneakers or sandals making it a versatile look that will be comfortable and chic regardless of what activity you are doing on that day.

4. Coastal Chic: The Ultimate Trend for Beach Lovers

If you are like me and are already having beach picnics- even in the spring, then the Coastal Chic fashion trend is made for you! The idea of this trend is effortlessly stylish outfits that make you look like you just stepped off a breezy boardwalk in a dreamy seaside town. Think flowy linens, ocean-inspired hues, and that effortless, sun-kissed vibe. The Coastal Chic aesthetic is focused on laid-back luxury and timeless elegance so you can’t go wrong!

For another type of beach-inspired look check out the Fisherman Fashion Trend, trust me—it’s way more stylish than it sounds. Think relaxed knits, weathered neutrals, and cool, functional accessories that give off a “just came off a boat” aesthetic.

5. Trend Alert: Powder Pink

Although Barbie Pink has had its big moments in most recent years, Powder Pink is the ideal color trend for Spring 2025. This soft and light color is perfect for the season. A powder pink blazer with white leg pants is the perfect combination for a spring look. Whether you’re heading to brunch, a work meeting, or a casual stroll through the city, powder pink is a must for your wardrobe.

6. My Go-To Spring Outfit: The Pastel Power Suit

If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I love a good pantsuit. It’s the perfect mix of classy, professional, and timeless. What I love most about this look is the boost of confidence it gives me.

Since we are talking about Spring 2025, a look I have been saving to my Pinterest board on repeat has been pastel power suits. Soft shades like powder blue, blush pink, and mint green are ideal for this time of year and you can wear them to work, evening dinner, or brunch!

The best way to elevate this look is with a pair of nice heels, a chic mini bag, and some gold accessories to pull it all together.

7. Parisian Spring Look

Paris is the City of Fashion for a reason! Whenever I want outfit inspiration, I am checking which outfits are popular in Paris for that season. Spring is no exception as everyone always looks flawlessly chic in their trench coats and fitted knit tops.

8. Statement Vest Look

I used to totally overlook vests, but lately, they’ve become one of my favorite layering pieces. For Spring 2025, they’re having a real moment. Whether it’s a tailored waistcoat layered over a tank or a cozy knit vest paired with denim, there are so many fun ways to style them.

This week, I threw on a structured beige vest over a crisp white button-down with matching beige trousers—and I have to say, I felt so put-together. It was the perfect outfit for a busy day of meetings and errands. It gave that clean, polished vibe without trying too hard.

Trust me, vests are the unexpected hero your spring wardrobe needs.

9. Pretty in Pastel

It’s the time of the year for the pastel takeover. What I love most about pastels is how versatile they are. You can go full monochrome for a bold statement or mix and match soft hues for more of a lighter look.

10. Sports Luxe: Athleisure Getting a Chic Upgrade

One of the biggest misconceptions is that you have to compromise comfort in order to be stylish. Is there a way to make athleisure wear chic? Of course! I have been doing more research lately on which athleisure to wear, granted that I am walking outside more in warm weather.

One small way to make sports attire more chic is by wearing a tennis skirt. Try out the On Cloudnova sneakers to elevate the look while still being comfortable.

Spring is the time to embrace the joy of new beginnings.  From tailored vests to linen co-ords, powder pink to coastal chic, there’s truly a spring trend for everyone. The best part? These looks are all about comfort, versatility, and making fashion feel effortless and chic at the same time. As the season unfolds, I’m so excited to keep experimenting with these trends and find new ways to make them my own. Whether you’re adding a pastel power suit to your wardrobe or opting for a chic denim shirt and wide-leg pants, the key is to embrace what feels authentically you while keeping things fresh and fun.
