Celebrate Galentine’s with Fun Cocktail Ideas

I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is around the corner! Although Valentine’s Day can be nice- I love the concept of Galentine’s Day which has become more popular in recent years. There’s nothing better than celebrating Galentine’s Day with your girls and eating good food, watching movies, and drinking some delicious cocktails.

Picking which cocktail to bring to Galentine’s Day is a bit overwhelming, but I’ve put together a list of some  drinks that I am dying to try and  are not only delicious but also top-rated (4 stars and above—because you and your girls deserve the best).

Also, I wanted to mention that although most of the drinks mentioned here are pink and V-Day themed, you can definitely make any cocktail you like V-Day themed. Check out the tips I mentioned in this article to help achieve this.

Check out stores like Anthropologie, Target, or Tj-Maxx to find super cute cocktail tools, utensils, and V-Day themed glasses and drink accessories.

Cheers to Galentine’s Day!!

Tips for Galentine’s Day-Themed Cocktails

  • Use Edible Glitter: Add a touch of pink or red sparkle to your drinks with edible glitter
  • Garnish with Heart Shapes: Use a small cookie cutter to cut fruit like strawberries or watermelon into heart shapes.
  • Add Fresh Flowers: Garnish with edible flowers like rose petals or pansies.
  • Create Themed Ice Cubes: Freeze raspberries, pomegranate seeds, or edible flowers in ice cube trays for decorative ice.
  • Drizzle Chocolate: For dessert cocktails, drizzle chocolate syrup inside the glass or on the rim for a decadent look.
  • Sugar or Salt the Rim: Use colored sugar or pink Himalayan salt to rim glasses—dip rims in lemon juice or syrup for better adherence.
  • Use Decorative Glassware: Opt for unique glasses like heart-shaped glassware to serve your drinks in.
  • Don’t Forget the Straw: Include Valentine’s-themed straws or cocktail picks for added personality.
  • Write a Sweet Message: Use food-safe markers or stencils with powdered sugar or cocoa to write messages like “Love” or “XOXO” on creamy cocktails.
